Sophia is the lab manager and a research assistant at DHEP. She has been working with the team on a series of studies exploring machine learning for medical diagnostic systems since August 2022.

Before working at the DHEP Lab, Sophia worked on data management and analysis for studies at the UNC School of Medicine in the Department of Health Sciences, and the UNC Department of Sociology.
